Portraits for a special milestone in a girl’s life
We absolutely loved getting to photograph these portraits for Gigi! A quinceañera is a pretty big time in a girl’s life so we are pretty honored to do them for her. She’s just as comfortable in this gorgeous gown as she is in her tennies, dribbling a basketball.
Things worked out really well with the session. One big reason was that family was there to help. Everyone needs a cheerleader and Gigi had quite a few! It’s always nice to have extra help to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying yourself. Another reason that it worked out so well is that they had hand-picked a great location. Rain was in the forecast so everything moved to a family friend’s home. Yes the home and grounds are stunning, but it’s a place that means a lot to their family. They spent time there growing up at holiday parties so it’s near and dear to them. Nothing like a beautiful, familiar place to make a great backdrop for Gigi! Bonus: the rain didn’t happen so we got to shoot indoors and out.
