Every soon-to-be bride I speak with, I tell them that finding a photographer for your wedding is THE hardest thing. There are SO many photographers to choose from so I had tasked my mom with helping me find one… she picked Mercedes Morgan Photography and we couldn’t be more happy with her selection. They photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding day. They were AMAZING at suggesting locations for our engagement session that matched the style I was looking for. We loved our engagement photos and am still in awe over our wedding photos. They sure know what they’re doing. Not only were the photos stunning, Mercedes and Jesse are fun to be around and easily share in the joy that is happening during your wedding day (which makes posing for pictures all day MUCH easier). We’ve already told Mercedes and Jesse that we want them to capture every next step in our lives… these photos are going to be cherished for our lifetime, our children’s and many more.
– Abby and Robert’s Wedding Driftwood, Texas
Mercedes and Jesse were wonderful to work with and I’m so glad we chose them for our wedding. They really took the time to get to know us and was so sweet and responsive during the process. I didn’t know what to expect but I let them know what I was looking for and they delivered above and beyond. They are extremely talented and have an eye for light. I was absolutely blown away by the pictures and have received so many compliments from our family and friends. They took our engagements photos as well and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable throughout the shoot. You won’t regret choosing Mercedes Morgan Photography for your big day, she is amazing!!
– Helen and Wes’ The Creek Haus Austin wedding
Choosing a photographer is probably the #1 important aspect of a wedding. You only have one chance to capture it, one chance only! After texting several photographers, it seemed Mercedes Morgan Photography was #1 in customer service and very prompt & courteous! I enjoyed our small talk and humorous conversation in less than 30 minutes. I believe having a smooth conversation was one good part of choosing them, but also their images speak for themselves. Some of our images were candid shots and they captured them amazingly! You can catch the feelings through those shots and I love that! She and Jesse did amazing! Thank you guys!

Cristina and Brandon, at the Wildflower Barn in Driftwood, Texas.
We *love* this venue because of the couples that it attracts. Sweet, down-to-earth couples like Cristina and Brandon. Wildflower Barn’s outdoor space comfortably fit all of their guests and even had some room to spare. The twinkle lights that adorn the whole space and all the gorgeous trees mean that decorating can be simple and personal, and beautiful.
Kayla and Tyler at the Zilker Park Clubhouse in Austin, Texas.
Kayla and Tyler both have running in common. That came out when we met them to photograph their engagement session in Austin’s Zilker Park, a place they love to hang out together and where Tyler proposed. Another thing they had in common was their love for keeping things simple when it came to their wedding. Simple, intimate and different to be sure!
Marissa and Joey at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas.
It is an unusual thing to get a phone call asking if we’re available to photograph a wedding the next day, but that’s what happened. The conversation with Marissa was short and sweet, and less than an hour after the call, we were booked and excited. We were excited for a good reason. Camp Lucy—yes, please. But also? One of the kindest, sweetest couples were getting married.
Sara and Francisco at Olive and June restaurant in Austin, Texas.
One of those “what’s not to love?” weddings! Sara is one of those people who smile for everyone she meets and heart as big as the Texas outdoors. Francisco is just as warm and welcoming and loves Sara so much.
They have a strong love of family, and their ceremony showed it.
Hannah and Eric at Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, Texas.
Chapel Dulcinea is one of the most iconic venues and is perfect for elopements and micro weddings. The Chapel is stunning with an open, airy feel and a bell tower. Very classic. The view is a beauty, iconic of the Texas Hill Country, and makes for great photographs. Best of all, you are encouraged to ring the bell at the end of the ceremony! This beautiful venue is incredibly affordable and approachable. We’ve enjoyed photographing many weddings at the Chapel over the years and are happy to be a vendor supporter.
