Sinae & Steven ~ Houston Engagement Photographer

Engagements

Nutshell version: late afternoon engagement session, Menil Collection area of Houston + park + dogs.

Tiny bit of back story: Sinae had contacted me to find out if we could shoot a wedding after the sun went down. That’s hardly an idle question: their wedding venue was the Houston Zoo’s Reflection Pool which is barely lit in the evenings. We said yes (photographers make light when they have to…and don’t mind recommending event lighting companies when they could be needed) and so Steven and Sinae said yes to us, too.

So Jesse and I shot the wedding and I can’t wait to share it. In the meantime, enjoy their engagement photos. Cameo appearances by Ralph and Sadie.

Love all of these so much! Thank you for everything. I can't sing your praises enough to those that ask me about my experience in general for wedding prep and the actual big day. You and Jesse made us feel comfortable and helped us enjoy the entire process.

Awww Sinae! We both had a great time shooting your wedding. You guys and your families are really great people so it was a privilege. Plus? That was hands down the best cake I've had. :D

Love this whole set, but my favorites are the ones on the bench and the fourth shot down. Such a sweet couple (and really cute dogs!).
