Can they be any happier? I’m not sure it’s possible! I first met Nicole during Arlem and Imtiaz’s lovely wedding last year. Arlem and I had kept in touch and I found out Nicole was getting married in an intimate Austin wedding at Chapel Dulcinea. It was such an honor to have them pick me to photograph their wedding.
Just a small handful of friends, a couple of handfuls of family—some drove all the way from Ohio—attended the wedding. It might have been short and sweet, but it was heavy emotion. The pre-wedding anxious feelings were nipped in the bud when they had a moment to themselves and prayed before the ceremony. It was sweet to see them walk down together down the aisle. There were laughs during the ceremony, courtesy of the officiant, David’s friend and co-worker of several years. The warmth was so contagious! They’re both incredibly warm, giving and selfless people. It was wonderful to see them surrounded by their closest loved ones…a sweet beginning to a sweet life together!
Are you or someone you know planning on an intimate Austin wedding at Chapel Dulcinea? Let’s get in touch! It’s one of my favorite places to photograph small weddings in Austin. The venue has so many sweet little spots for portraits and the chapel is perfect for an elopement or small wedding. It’s such a great facility and it’s hard to believe that it’s free to use! Once you have a date in mind, it’s a good idea to book right away because it does get booked up quickly. Do the same when you plan on having a photographer to help you remember your special day. It might be a smaller celebration, but it’s still just as important and just as worth remembering in real, lovely pictures.
