Marcie and Travers ~ South Congress Austin Engagement

Engagements

These two are getting married in the spring and I am having a hard time waiting. Marcie and I chatted over great coffee at Summermoon on 1st St. for a good, long while. She told me a little about herself (she has a strong, creative streak) and Travers (he’s never met anyone who wasn’t a friend). Marcie also shared how she found their wedding and reception venue (I will tell you all about it when we do the wedding blog post). It was literally a dream come true.

They are Texans and Austinites and they love SoCo. So that’s where we started. They were troopers: it was hot that day! That didn’t keep the smiles off their faces. Austin Wedding Photographer Mercedes Morgan PhotographyAustin Area Wedding PhotographySt. Cecelia Wedding PhotographerAustin Wedding PhotographerAustin Area WEdding photographerSouth Congress Wedding PhotographerSouth Congress Engagement photographerAustin area wedding photographer mercedes morgan Austin wedding photographer

Afterwards, we headed out to Barton Creek Greenbelt for more. This was where it got really sweet: we headed out to the spot where Travers proposed.

This was spontaneous and I love them for it:Austin Wedding Photographersaustin husband wife wedding photography teams austin husband and wife wedding photographer team austin wedding photography austin area wedding photographers austin wedding photographer austin tx wedding photographers austin tx wedding photographer

This is their rock. Only, when he proposed there was water in the creek and he was so scared of losing the ring.

Even the end of the day was particularly lovely. austin wedding photographersI am kind of giddy about shooting Marcie’s bridals. I’ve seen her dress and it’s lovely, just like she deserves. Thanks for traipsing all over SoCo with me and sharing the places dear and dear to you both. It’s truly a blessing and a privilege!

This shoot looks like so much fun. I love the images where the couple are interacting with each other and look so natural. Great work. The shot on the rocks of Marcie lying down is the best, hands down.
