It’s awfully nice to get things in the mail, isn’t it? I think so.
To me, it’s a very important thing to make sure that our clients have a good experience with us. If I’m fortunate enough, that experience with wedding clients starts with shared time over coffee, then emails back and forth so they know they can get in touch freely, then a fun engagement session then the wedding. After the wedding day, a few more surprises and that includes a gift with their USB full of real, lovely photographs to help them remember their wedding day.
Lately, we’ve been gifting these wonderful matted folios that are made by the same company that makes the albums we offer. And just like the albums, the folios are carefully made by hand with materials that will last. I admit to being a bit, um, giddy over clean, mitered corners and neat folds like these have!
There’s just something about seeing your photographs presented all fancy, like a treasure. I remember my parents having their wedding portraits displayed on their dresser. There was something comforting and reassuring about their constant presence when I would go through my mom’s tchotchkes in her drawer. I imagine the same for our clients, except for the kiddo rummaging through their things, perhaps! But to have something to look and and help you remember Your Best Day Ever at a glance sounds like a real nice thing to me.
