Of Books and Endless Summer Hours

“No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally – and often far more – worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond.” ― C.S. Lewis

Joshua has recently taken to reading a series of fantasy novels called Redwall. You might have heard of them? If given the chance, he’d spend all day under the covers reading hour after hour after hour, emerging only to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

I remember days like that.

<3 this summer i'll always remember as musa's summer of harry potter. it's the first time he's discovered... well, exactly what your photo above shows :) hoping it lasts a lifetime! and thanks for reminding me of redwall! i'm always trying to add to his list. literally less than two minutes after he finished "deathly hallows" he asked me, "what do i read now???" (although that might have been rhetorical... like, you know, the despair you feel when you get to the end and realize you can never read it again for the first time...)
