They wanted an elegant but also very intimate celebration.
Honest and for true: I knew this wedding was going to be amazing and it was going to be a blast to witness. Arlem and Imtiaz managed to blend their personalities and aesthetics into one beautiful multicultural wedding. Not over-the-top but quiet, sophisticated elegance was the hallmark of this event. They opted for a more traditional mehndi celebration in lieu of a rehearsal dinner (pictures and proof are here). But both wanted a more American mash up of both of their backgrounds for the wedding. The result was stunning and the vibe was so welcoming for their dearest family and friends who travelled from all over Texas and half-way around the world.
For the curious:
Arlem wore a blush-colored Ines di Santo gown with Vince Camuto shoes for the ceremony and Reem Acra dress with Christian Louboutin shoes for the reception. Her beautiful ceremony headpiece was handcrafted by the talent behind Feather and Coal.
Imtiaz wore a JCrew suit for the ceremony and a Hugo Boss suit for the reception. Both were paired with Gucci shoes.
